Sampler-blokkeja - Sampler blocks

Samplerin ompelu kurssilla etenee suunnitelman mukaan. Tämä viikko on syyslomaa, joten yksi blokki tuli kotiläksyksikin, jotta kaikki ehditään saada valmiiksi kurssin loppuun mennessä. Tässä siis viimekertainen ompelus alla ja kotiläksy yläpuolella. Kotiläksy on nimeltään "Mirri nurkassa", toinen taas "Vaahteranlehti".

On todella hauska nähdä, miten oppilaiden erilaiset värivalinnat vaikuttavat blokkien ulkonäköön, laitan kuvia näkyville niistäkin, kunhan ehdin.

My students' sampler sewing is proceeding as planned. This week there's a school holiday, so the workshop isn't held either, but the studensts got one of the blocks as their homework. It is the one above = Puss in the corner. The other one called "Maple leave" was sewed together last time.

 

It is really fun to follow how the colour choices of the students affect the patterns. I'll put out some pictures of them as well as soon as I have more time for blogging.
